About Us
The Compassion for Animals Society is a NFP charity based in South East Queensland dedicated to the protection and conservation of all animals from cats and dogs, to cows and chickens, to koalas and kangaroos. One of our main focuses is supporting individuals working alone in their efforts to rescue animals & improve animal welfare. From time to time we also like to lend our support to our fellow charities, for example for our first Gala Ball we donated proceeds to the RSPCA as they had recently taken over an existing shelter in the Ipswich area. Where we see a need, we like to lend a hand.
